To speed up the market adoption of digital download kiosks, MOD Systems is working with consumer device manufacturers to produce a wide range of compatible devices. We have already created Player software and hardware devices to give customers multiple, cost-effective options to play their video content. You can promote and sell these devices instore, further enhancing revenue streams.

To play content on any Windows PC with a secure SD card reader:

GreenPlay Media Player Software: Developed in conjunction with Sonic Solutions, the GreenPlay Media Player enables your customers to watch movies and TV programs in GreenPlay format directly from SD memory cards on any Windows PC. When GreenPlay movies or TV programs are downloaded from a digital download kiosk, the software is automatically loaded onto the SD card.

To play content on any Windows PCs without a secure SD card reader:

GreenPlay SD Card Reader: With the small, compact GreenPlay SD Card Reader, customers can play their content on any device with a USB drive. Together with the player software downloaded to the SD card with the video selections, the device provides a secure SD reader, converting any Windows PC into a GreenPlay-compatible device. It’s ideal for watching movies on planes, in cars--or anytime they’re on the go.

To play content on any television:

GreenPlay Digital Media Player: Customers can also purchase a GreenPlay Digital Media Player, a sleek, contemporary set-top box that enables them to watch movies and TV programs on any television—regardless if it’s a newer flat screen or an older model. Customers simply connect the easy-to-use set top box to their TV, insert the SD card, and sit back and enjoy their video selections. No Internet connection is required, making it extremely flexible and usable.
