MOD Systems to Present at the William Blair & Company Private Equity Conference

October 21st, 2009 - Seattle

MOD Systems®, Incorporated, an industry-leading provider of digital media delivery systems for retailers, today announced that CEO Anthony Bay will participate in William Blair & Company's 12th Annual Private Equity Conference, an event that brings together more than 50 cutting-edge companies and more than 400 investors from leading private equity firms.

At the conference, Bay will discuss how the MOD Retail Digital Content Distribution System helps retailers bring an expansive library of digital content into their stores, enabling consumers to browse, pay and download content from touchscreen kiosks. He will also address the future of movie and music downloads to flash-based storage and revenue opportunities in digital content delivery for retailers, device manufacturers and content providers.

The Private Equity Conference will be held on Wednesday, October 28th, 2009 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. CST at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago.

Bay co-founded MOD Systems in 2005 and has more than 25 years of executive expertise, technology management and private-venture investor experience. Previously, he served as the Executive Chairman of Loudeye Corporation, acquired by Nokia in 2006 to power Nokia's global music service.  Prior to joining Loudeye, Bay created the Digital Media Division at Microsoft where he served as Corporate Vice President and General Manager and a member of Microsoft's Executive Staff. He also previously spent 8 years with Apple Computer.
