July 22nd, 2008 - Seattle

MOD Systems, an industry-leading provider of media-on-demand solutions for retailers, today announced Eric Zetlin, senior director of business development, will speak at Building Blocks 2008, an event produced by Digital Hollywood and the Consumer Electronics Association.

The session on August 6, 2008, titled "Networks, Devices, and Applications that Define the Consumer Experience" will explore how the consumer entertainment experience is being redefined on a variety of technology platforms. Zetlin will address how media-on-demand systems in retail are transforming the way consumers purchase and experience digital entertainment content.

"This is a great event for anyone involved in the intersection of consumer electronics, entertainment and digital media," said Eric Zetlin of MOD Systems. "Retailers, as the dominant channel for entertainment sales, are innovating with new systems that change the way consumers purchase and experience entertainment. We look forward to participating in this summer's Building Blocks event."

MOD Systems' media-on-demand platform handles all aspects of managing, merchandising and fulfilling digital media, and includes the MOD POD interactive touchscreen kiosk. The platform supports all distribution scenarios including manufacturing on demand, delivery in optical or digital format, and hybrid online and in-store systems.

Building Blocks 2008, held August 5 - 7 in San Jose, will focus on "The Platforms That Transform the Industry." The event looks at how broadband, mobile, social media, video and communications platforms are transforming the consumer electronics, entertainment and media industries.
