MOD Distributes "Virtual Gift Bag" at Digital Media Pipeline
Mon, Aug 23, 2010MOD Systems is working with the Entertainment Merchant’s Association to deliver digital movies and materials on SD cards to attendees of the Digital Media Pipeline conference September 15 in Los Angeles. No more plastic bags filled with papers and index cards, or tchotckes that grab your kids’ attention more than your own.
For the first time, conference attendees will walk away with a new release movie on a Kingston high-speed SD card, downloaded from MOD’s kiosk at the show. Conference goers can watch their new movie on Windows-based laptops or PCs at their leisure, and head over to the MOD kiosk to browse and download additional films of interest. MOD’s kiosks are home to thousands of new release film titles and TV shows from major Hollywood studios, including Warner, Paramount, Lionsgate and MGM.
You’ll begin to see MOD’s kiosks in retail locations around the country this year, but the Digital Media Pipeline event is a great place to get some hands-on time with the world’s first digital download kiosk using SD cards. Read the news, and come see us at the show!
